The Dreamy Stationery Post
September 2017 marks the first year that I will not be returning to any educational institution. To be honest the thought of this is pretty daunting. For some strange reason, I am really missing university at the moment and those post graduation blues have well and truly kicked in. However, there is one particular “back to school” ritual that I missing the most – stationery shopping. Yep, I have no shame, I am a self-confessed stationary enthusiast / hoarder.
I’m almost certain that using pretty notebooks and pens makes studying a whole lot easier, am I right? In all seriousness though, I really do believe that using things like weekly planners and to-do list pads can help a lot with organisation and productivity. Although I may not be heading back to uni myself, I thought I would share a little list of some of my favourite stationery brands and vendors.
If you follow my adventures over on Instagram, you will most likely be sick of hearing me bang on about Ban.do (sorry, not sorry). They really do produce some beautiful products. I am a particularly big fan of their agendas which I have been using religiously over the past year. These pretty planners are filled with quirky, cool illustrations and all the motivational quotes to see you through the academic year.
The Rifle Paper Company
Love muted tones and vintage florals? Then the Rifle Paper Co is for you! Alongside Ban.do, the Rifle Paper Co make some of the prettiest planners around. They also have a fantastic array of folders, cards and printed goods on offer.
I particularly love this brand for their range of small notebooks – which are available in a crazy variety of patterns and prints. Their small, handbag friendly size makes them especially fab for note taking on the go. Iconic also offer lined, squared or blank pages – meaning they could potentially be great for bullet journaling!
That Lame Company / A Little Amber
When it comes to staying organised, to-do lists are my best friend. It, therefore, goes without saying that list pads are an essential for me. A Little Amber (formerly known as That Lame Company) make some of the most beautiful to-do list booklets in town – they’re also really reasonably priced too!
Housing an impressive array of brands and a multitude of products, Paperchase is my Aladdin’s cave. I have purchased so many bits and pieces from the store throughout my time at uni – page markers, sticky notes, pink fluffy pens – you name it! I’m also pretty sure that it’s impossible to leave that store without picking something up – am I right?
A little bit of an odd one, however since browsing the store over the past year I have picked up some great finds from their own brand range. This is an amazing option for anyone looking to save some pennies.
I mean, is there anything that can’t be found in Tiger? At the moment I seem to have caught the planner bug and have snapped up some pretty fab journal accessories and washi tape in store.
Some more of my favourite stationery stores include Ohh Deer, Papier, The Fox and the Star, The Paper Parlour and Kate Spade (Swoon). I really could go on for hours but I’ll stop here… for now. I really hope you enjoyed this post and found some back to school/uni/work/life stationery inspo! Do you have any go-to brands? I’d love to discover some more!
