5 Things I’m Looking Forward to this October
Ahhh October you are finally here and you are looking beautiful! This month is set to be a very busy (and exciting) month for Lindsey Lou. From upping my posting schedule to taking last minute trips, I have a feeling that October is gonna get pretty cray cray – in all the best ways! Today I thought I would let ya in in a few things that I am excited for in the month of October.
A few weeks back, after spying that the amazingly talented Declan Mckenna is coming to Glasgow later this month, my lovely friend and I decided to bag some last minute tickets for ourselves. As she will be travelling all the way up from London for the gig we thought that we would make the most of her time in Glasgow and plan a few extra days of exploring. There is nothing I love more than being a tourist in my hometown and showing our wonderful city off to my friends! As well as a day of city explorin’ we have also planned a little road trip to the beautiful Glencoe. Upon visiting this stunning area with family earlier this year, I have come to love the super chilled vibes of the highlands. Our stay here will be the perfect way to kick back, relax and escape busy city life for a little bit!
Bye bye social life – hello Netflix! I feel like it has been years since I became hooked on the first season of this amazing show but alas, season two is almost upon us! In all honesty, when the series was first released I didn’t think that it would interest me at all. However after giving into the (crazy) online hype and decided to give it a go and well, it more than lived up to its praise. From the smashing soundtrack to the epic storylines, the show had me glued to my screen for days! I cannot wait to see what season two has to offer!
The Enchanted Forest
Around October time last year whilst browsing Instagram, I stumbled upon an influx of pictures of magical, glowing trees and beautiful light installations. After some serious Insta-snooping I discovered that these photos had been taken at a place called “The Enchanted Forest”. Upon browsing through the hashtag I knew that I just had to visit, however as I was super late to the party all of the tickets for 2016 had sadly sold out. This year, on the other hand, I did manage to bag some tickets for myself and my friend Karen and I cannot wait to experience it in the flesh (and take all the beautiful snaps).
Heading back to Bootcamp
Recently I wrote a little post all about my fitness journey with the fab AG Fitness. Within the post, I mentioned how much I enjoyed the gym’s fitness boot camp – yep, it really is fantastic. This month, I will be heading back for my third 10-week boot camp with the gym and I am so ready to get back into the swing of things and improve my fitness levels.
The Scottish Blogger Collective
On the 5th of this month, I am heading to the Scottish Blogger Collective’s first ever Glasgow session – woo! As a content creator and all-around digital obsessive, I am more than eager to learn more about the world of blogging and online media. Therefore, I have a feeling that this event will be right up my street! This week’s session will specifically focus on working with brands which is a topic that I am super interested in! I am also really excited to finally meet some of the lovely bloggers that I have been chatting to online and put some faces to names!
