Spring Cocktails with Flavourly

Over the past few years Gin has become just about the only alcohol I drink – and with so many amazing brands available on the market, I am forever spoiled for choice. However, when it comes to picking out a new bottle, it can often be tempting to “stick to what you know” – to opt for your trusty ride or die favourites time and time again. However, I have recently come across a fab company who are here to switch things up a little!

Introducing Flavourly

Flavourly are an online drinks company who like to do things a little differently. Created for foodie adventurers and explorers, they aim to provide the ultimate platform for discovering your new favourite beverages from the best independent distilleries around the country. From craft beer to luxurious batch gins, they really do have something for everyone.

As a huge Gin lover, you can only imagine how excited I was when flavourly reached out to enquire about a collaboration. Initially, the plan for this post was to create “The Ultimate Spring Cocktail”, but upon testing out a few variations using my (amazing) Flavourly Gin Discovery box, I just couldn’t decide on one alone! So today I have two to share with you!

First up is one for all you citrus Gin lovers – The Spring Zing! For this creation, I poured a measure of The Ginsmiths of Liverpool’s Citrus Gin into a chilled glass, added a few slices of zingy grapefruit and my Discovery Box tonic. I then finished up by adding a slice of fresh lime and a sprig of mint to my glass. Yep, it really is that simple – but tastes ultra refreshing (and pretty delicious if I do say so myself!)

I call the next creation – “Just Peachy”. For this cocktail, I added ice cold prosecco to Flavourly’s very own peach and raspberry liqueur and garnished with some sweet frozen raspberries and a wedge of fresh lime.  Another super simple recipe which went down a treat!

The Gin Discovery Box

As a major foodie who is always keen to try the next big thing, this box couldn’t be more perfect! Priced at £34.99 per month, The Gin Discovery box contains three 200ml bottles of hand-selected gins with mixers and a snack. This means that each month, you have the opportunity to try three different gins from unique small-batch producers all around the country! The boxes can also be purchased as a gift – which I think is such a great idea! As a Gin fiend, I know that this something that I would love to receive!
